6 days until first language cafés of Nordic Day 2026
Nearly 100 people have already signed up for this year's Nordic Day language cafés! Last year, it was Danish that surprised us with high interest. This year, it seems to be Norwegian’s turn as Sunday is already fully booked. If you'd like to speak the language of the fjords, there are still some spots available for Monday!
This year’s Nordic Day language café event is again turning into a global phenomenon. While most participants are from Nordic countries, we have received bookings from as far as North America, Africa, and Southeast Asia! 🌍
As a reminder, there are 8 languages you can practice online with fellow Nordics this year: Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, Faroese, Greenlandic, and Northern Sámi.
As a last-minute addition, starting today, you can also join a language café in Elfdalian, a North Germanic language spoken by around 3,000 people who live or have grown up in the locality of Älvdalen, Sweden. This event is open and free to everyone, and we will host two sessions in each language: 1st language café: on Sunday 22.3. at 14:00–15:00 (Central European Time) 2nd language café: on Monday 23.3. at 18:00–19:00 (Central European Time) You can find all Nordic Day language cafés listed here

See you at the language café!
