Ice Ice Maybe?
Hello fellow multilinguals!
First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in the Nordic Day event on 23 March! We, along with our partners, were delighted that over 130 people showed interest and signed up to practice languages from the Nordic countries, ranging from Finnish to North SĂĄmi to Greenlandic đ„ł Itâs even cooler to see that so many of the event participants have since become regular language cafĂ© visitors, and with that made our language learner community more vibrant âșïž
Speaking of good vibes, one of Nordic Dayâs beloved Icelandic language cafĂ© hosts, Siggi from Icelandic Made Easi(er), is offering three language cafĂ© sessions on our platform this spring. Whether youâre a beginner who just thinks Icelandic ponies are cute or a connoisseur of Icelandic mythology, this is your chance to practice your Icelandic in a relaxed setting with other curious spirits.
The sessions will take place on the following Saturdays, starting next week:
26.4. at 11:00â12:00 Icelandic time
10.5. at 11:00â12:00 Icelandic time
24.5. at 11:00â12:00 Icelandic time
Thatâs 13:00â14:00 Central European Time or 14:00â15:00 Eastern European Time đ
You can learn more about the language cafĂ© and sign up here. On that note, we wish you happy Easter holidays!đ»
