New year gives us the chance to start afresh and test out new things 🙌✨ That’s what we’re doing too with this spring’s language cafés and events. Whether you are looking to feel good about your Finnish or Swedish, or celebrate Nordic culture, we have some exciting news for you as we head into February! 🥳

New Finnish language café course starting 2.2.

How does speaking Finnish with familiar faces sound to you? That is the idea behind our new language café course with Thomas. Every Monday for 10 weeks you get together with the same group of 5 people to chat around different activities in Finnish.

• What to expect: Boost your speaking skills and confidence, and make friends in a fun, supportive environment.

• When: Every Monday 2.2.2026 – 6.4.2026 at 19:30–20:30 EET (Finnish time)

As @Thomas Thijssen and I are beginning to prepare for a new season at Articulatte, we'd love to hear your ideas for this fall’s language cafés. To invite you to take part in the conversation, here are some questions we’d be grateful to hear your thoughts on:

Would you like to practice a particular language that hasn't been offered yet?

Would you like to join an existing language café, but at a time that has not been available before?

This fall we are planning on hosting music-themed English language cafés where we can discuss and share stories about songs that are meaningful to us. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this idea, as well as any other twists that could make language cafés more fun!
